NEHU
North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) is the
oldest Central University in the North-Eastern Region, established in 1973 and
the Tura Campus was founded on the year of 1996. NEHU is recognized by UGC as a
‘University with Potentials for Excellence (UPE)’and known as an ‘Entrepreneurial
university’. Over the years NEHU earned a rich experience in promoting
technological innovation and spin-off businesses – through strong interaction
with universities and research institutes in the region. The Tura Campus was
established in 1996 and presently host ten academic departments.
