The active participation of over 200 innovative entrepreneurs from Meghalaya and the North-Eastern Region (NER), showcasing their ventures in 91 stalls during the inaugural edition of MEGHA START-UP EXPO 2023 demands a special mention.

Skill Development Programs (SDP) are organized regularly, tailored to the needs of budding entrepreneurs, to equip them with essential skills crucial for success in their entrepreneurial endeavours. Our capacity-building initiatives encompass a wide range of areas, including food processing, fruit and vegetable processing, mushroom cultivation, fermentation and microbiological techniques, as well as handicrafts. Additionally, we offer training in entrepreneurial skills, business development, and financial management to empower individuals with comprehensive knowledge and expertise.

Outreach Activities
The BioNEST Team at NEHU conducts outreach activities, extending beyond the B3I Facility to engage with state academic institutions, fostering collaborations and extending mentorships. This includes organizing sensitization and awareness campaigns, roadshows, Ideathon, Idea clinic, all designed to identify and support talent from diverse backgrounds, including remote and underserved areas of the North-Eastern Region (NER).
